Thank You to the Entire Walled Lake Community!

We want to extend a special thank you to our members and our community! Our commitment to the Walled Lake community goes beyond taking deposits and making loans. Part of our role as a credit union is to live with positive ethical values and to make positive changes in our community. 

“People Helping People” is a motto used throughout the entire credit union industry. “People Helping People” isn’t just something we say at WLSFCU so we can check off a box on our marketing plan, but it’s something we try to live every single day. This attitude resides with our Board of Directors, our staff and our members. We live by the motto of “People Helping People,” and we work hard to support local community organizations so they can provide vital services to the community.

Recently, we have received some recognition for our community involvement. We were awarded a Volunteer Service Award at the 54th Annual Michigan Week Awards, and we received an award for Outstanding Support and Generosity from the WLCSD Foundation for Excellence! We are thrilled to receive this recognition. Thank you to all of our partners in the schools and around the community that give us opportunities to work with you and thank you to everyone responsible for this recognition. We have been building some great relationships, and we appreciate you as much as you appreciate us!

We don’t show up to work planning to win awards, but we do try doing the right things for the right reasons. We are happy to see the community notice us and appreciate what we offer, and it fires us up to keep bringing positive, productive energy to our community. Thank you to everyone that supports us, and allows us be part of this community!
