One of the great features of Walled Lake Schools Federal Credit Union is that we are still an exclusive credit union with hometown values. A lot of today’s financial institutions will open an account for just about anyone that walks in the door. To open an account with us, the member must meet certain criteria listed below. By remaining an exclusive credit union we are able to focus our efforts directly on this community, and provide our members with the hometown values they deserve in a financial partner.
Who is Eligible?
- Any student or employee of the Walled Lake Consolidated School District
- Any employee of the City of Walled Lake, the City of Wixom, the Village of Wolverine Lake or Commerce Twp.
- Any family members of students, school employees or city employees that have an account on file.
If you meet any of the above criteria, you simply have to open a savings account with an initial deposit of at least $5 to become a member. Once your account is open you can remain a member for life.
